Here's another one of those movies that make you better appreciate good ones. Wing Commander is a valiant effort given the minimal funding and a no-name cast. However, from what people familiar with the Wing Commander franchise tell me, this movie in no way measured up to the WC standard. The storyline was acceptable, but the acting and dialog was just plain silly. Some of the scenes which supposed to be serious and suspense-filled had the audience laughing. This movie didn't know what it wanted to be and in the end, it was not much of anything. |
