The Truman Show |

If you haven't already suffered from the overexposure of this movie in the media, you are in for a pleasant surprise. You get decent acting and a wonderful story idea. In "The Truman Show", Jim Carrey stars as Truman, the star of his own show -- except he doesn't know it. Truman was adopted by a TV production studio and filmed from day one in an environment created around him. We start watching the show after it has been on the air for thirty years and become a TV phenomenon. Truman gradually learns that something is not right in his world and we get to see these discoveries as Truman seeks the truth. I highly recommend this movie. You'll also get to see a new side of Jim Carrey -- one which I prefer. |
