Everytime I go to see a movie that cost several hundred million dollars to produce and pay 6 bucks, I'm reminded about how good it is to go to the movies. I went to see what my 6 bucks could buy and I left getting much more than my money's worth. This movie somehow manages to be a movie for everyone without sacrificing anything. That's a tough trick. You know the story: big ship sails, big ship sinks, big disaster. So much has been written about the Titantic, but only now with recent evidence and modern technology can the event be recreated for us on screen. In Titanic, you have wonderful special effects and action, a touching love story, the drama of human survival, and a chance to travel back in time. Pretty good for six bucks. See it! |
