As the story unfolds, I kept thinking that the plot of this movie only deserved an hour TV drama, but the twists and turns kept it rolling on. Michael Douglas stars as a Wall Street businessman who has married a younger Gwyneth Paltrow. His wife is having an affair with a local artist, and after her husband learns of this, tries to hire her lover to kill her. The intricacies of the motives and the consequences keep this interesting. Other than the strange casting decision with the police detective (he gave me the heebie-jeebies), the cast is strong. |
