International action star Jackie Chan is back in his latest attempt to win the hearts of American movie audiences. As with his other attempts, Jackie tries to do this by showing the greatest *real* stunts and timing you'll see at the movies. Too bad, Jackie can't find a story and some actors to round out the effort. In this movie, Jackie plays a television cooking personality who wanders into a investigative reporter who had taken a video of a drug deal involving Australia's nastiest drug dealers. Jackie has to use his brand of martial arts to save the reporter and later his girlfriend. The action sequences are typical Chan. They are funny and so real evoking ooohs and aaahs from the audience. You'll see this movie if you're a Chan fan. If not, watch it for the combination of amazing fight sequences and humor Jackie is world famous for. |
